Why Us

Your Instructor: Anna Hope the Dog Coach

Hey, I'm Anna, nice to meet you.

I've been training puppies and dogs for years now and our sessions, classes and social meet ups have seen over 500dogs graduate, learn and become awesome fluff balls who are totally tuned in to their humans.

I didn't really set out to be a dog trainer, it sort of happened once I got my lovely boy Frank, (who we sadly lost in April 2022). There just wasn't anything out there to help us. Unless we wanted to 'show him who's boss' or do endless laps of a village hall in a boring training class, we couldn't find what we needed.

So I stuck my head in every dog training book I could find, went to as many courses, workshops shadowing opportunites I could and here I am.

I train dogs and puppies a little differently. like to use fun to do it. Fun for the dogs as well as the owners and I haven't found a dog yet that I haven't helped, at least a little.

Dogs are precious and no one just gets a dog. Best intentions always fuel us for wanting to help our dogs live in our human world. If we can make this match as easy and trouble-free as we can, it's a winner.

Because I take this so seriously:

  • I am assessed and certified by dog training associations (because did you know anyone could call themselves a dog trainer).
  • I'm a member of theIMDT,a certified Hoopers Instructor CHWI, and Affiliate Trainer with EpicDog Training Academy Ltd so you know I have proved my knowledge.
  • I take dogs in schools to work closely with pupils and have developed our Safety & Communications Program for pupils to learn all about dogs and being safe around them.

Making dog training simple, easy to do and fun for both you and your dog is my kinda thing.
